Technical Features
- The vessel, an ocean-going heavy tug with specialist Nigata steering systems required a technically challenging solution for automatic steering. Steelcom Electronics’ engineers were able to specify and install a system which met all requirements.
- Integration of on-board alarm systems to allow unmanned alarm watch.
- Multi station PA/intercom system catering for both on-deck and engine room communication where clarity of communication is imperative.
- Distribution of navigation information to multiple stations for compliance.
- Full system compliance with international standards.
